Whilst the Danceworld's attention in January was on the UK dancefloor, where our Sponsored Gold dancers were competing in their new 2018 couture dresses, the Chrisanne Clover studio was still in full production mode with the upcoming prestigious event of our Couture Spring Show in Japan.

This annual February event took place in the prestigious Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo on the 18th & 19th February. Organized by our couture agent Kimi Oki and joined by our Chrisanne Clover designer Kushy Jutlla and Ronnie Li with support from our colleagues from the Tokyo shop.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the city on the 47th floor, over 100 couture dresses were displayed to the delight of dancers visiting from not only Tokyo but surrounding cities and provinces.

All of the new dresses made for the event have their own individual flare and twist to them, inspired by our design team's love of the Far East, combined with fashion couture from London.

It was such a great event, the atmosphere was always buzzing!  The feedback on our dresses we received from dancers, teachers and partners was amazing and shows that our dresses are still unique and inspiring to everyone!

Both days at the Keio Plaza Hotel were extremely busy with ladies coming in continuously to view our Couture.

Regular customers, new customers, ladies who had been referred to us by their friends, dance teachers and Mr Ito from the famous Dance View magazine, were all present at our show and it was so nice to meet old friends and be introduced to new.

It was a very successful 2 days and we are so pleased to know that once again, even more Chrisanne Clover dresses will be worn this year on the dance floors in Japan.’
