LIIS END WDC AMATEUR BALLROOM
2018 saw the exciting new partnership of Eric Li Cheng and Liis End dancing Amateur Ballroom. Introducing their new partnership at the Internationals this October placing a fantastic 4th place! They continued their success with another 4th place at the London Ball.
They joined together after Eric and Anna Zhou Manni went their separate ways in August 2018, with Eric partnering Liis whose previous partner was Dusan Dragovic, splitting partnership in December 2017.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Tallinn, Estonia
When did you start dancing?
I started dancing when I was 4 years old and that was also when I competed my first competition! I honestly cannot remember a time when I did not dance, dancing runs through my blood – and my family! My sister Kristi Boyce, is a Ballroom dancer who is also sponsored by Chrisanne Clover! She retired from competitive dancing in professional Ballroom this year 2018 with husband and partner Warren Boyce.
What is your favourite dance?
I have to say I love them all! Depending on the day, the mood and how I am feeling in the dance every day there is a different favourite :)
What are your highest achievements in dance?
Amateur Ballroom Finalist in all major competitions in the world including UK Open, British Open and International Championship. 3rd in the World and European Championship Amateur Ballroom.
What is your proudest dancing moment?
I have had so many proud and happy moments in my dancing career however if I were to pick one… I think it would have to be the first time dancing presentation dance in the UK Amateur final in 2015 :)
What is your favourite competition?
Competing is my life I just love being on the competition floor and travelling the world competing at different venues in different countries so I have to say I don’t have a favourite! I just love the opportunity to be able to compete at them all!

Comfort and fit is absolutely crucial and to me, this is a top priority. I have always admired the shape and movement a Chrisanne Clover dress dances on the dancefloor. The embellishment on a Chrisanne Clover couture is really second to none and are truly the most exquisite crystallized dresses on the dancefloor. So tasteful, rich with clean lines – very high quality!
What is your favourite Chrisanne Clover fabric?
I love Chrisanne Clover’s essential fabrics georgette and stretch net. The georgette is so light and graceful and creases just drop out once the dress is on a hanger or being worn. Stretch net is a gorgeous fabric it has such fantastic stretch, comfortable and elegant.
What are your dress inspirations?
I adore a classic and simple couture with clean lines and an elegant look, not much fuss and beautiful crystallization! I don’t want the dress to over power the dance, I want it to enhance and compliment the over all performance.
What do you do in your spare time to relax?
Sleep:) I also love to watch movies and dancing videos :)
Do you have any advice to young dancers reading this?
Definitely quality not quantity! Your look on the dancefloor is so important. It is better to have 1 really beautiful quality dress than many ‘so so’ dresses.
